How to manage passwords for all those sites that you manage? Roboform is how!
If your a web user at all then you obviously have a ton of different passwords that you need to manage. It seems every site these days wants you to create a profile with a different username and password. Unfortunately there aren’t any standards at this point. Username requirements vary, password requirements change it’s a mess. Things such as the OpenID and Microsofts Passport offered soultions to solve the problem but haven’t had the adoption rate from developers that supporters had hoped for.
The best solution I’ve found for managing these multiple site username and password is Roboform. The software not only remembers the multiple usernames and passwords for every site out there but it also has a nice feature that fills in fields on forms that it recognizes. You fill out your details in the options tab and a single button click is all that is required to fill out the forms.
A couple other features you might be interested in are the ability to sync passwords between multiple computers (desktop/laptop for example) and even a version of the password manager that will fit on a USB key. You can get a free download and try the program out. It’s worth it.
